Affiliate Chapter of Buick GS Club of America
Thank you for your interest in the Southern California Chapter of the GS Club of America (GSCA). Let us explain what out our organization is all about.
Our chapter, the Southern California Gran Sports (So Cal GS), was founded by Oliver Colteryahn in March, 1992. Since then, our membership has steadily grown to approximately seventy member-families. Like the national club, the primary purpose of So Cal GS is to share information about our Buicks and to participate in automotive events. We encourage the recognition, acquisition, restoration, maintenance and all around enjoyment of performance cars built by the Buick Motor Division of General Motors. Regardless of whether your car is a daily driver, show car, cruiser, street rod or race car: if it's Buick powered you're welcome to join.
Our club members are constantly helping each other with maintenance, restoration and performance tips. Many of those tips, along with proven sources of Buick parts and services in our local area, are published in our bimonthly newsletter, "Wildcat Express" or on our club web site. Free, non-commercial automotive related classified ads are also available to our members. The smaller size of our club (compared to GSCA) allows us to hold monthly meetings and events for the purpose of exchanging information on a personal level and just plain having fun.
To join the Southern California Gran Sports mail a check or money order (payable to Southern California Gran Sports) for the amount of $20.00, along with completed So Cal GS Membership Application to:
In return you will receive a New Member Packet, a So Cal GS logo T-shirt, this years newsletters and all of the benefits that the club has to offer. You will also be credited with this years dues. Thereafter, the annual dues of $20.00 will be due at the beginning of each calendar year.
You'll thoroughly enjoy the camaraderie of others in our club who regard Buick automobiles as highly as you do!
Our best regards,
